I’ve been on my green ish today so I need to make this a permanent feature because I’ve been an environmentalist from way back yo…continuing on, I LOVE TECHNOLOGY!! I’m watching CNN International right now! They just profiled this organization called The seawater Foundation. It’s an organization dedicated to combating the rise of sea water wordwide as a result of Global warming. To say the least it was eye opening. Peep the video and the website. I post about everything because hip hop is the world so here’s song by another one of my favorite artists… Talib Kweli ft. Phil Da Agony Think Green
I feel this is what this country needs, like ‘President Mos Def’ said, and I paraphrase ‘we’re going to start building stuff again…’ New jobs and he should throw in more education for everybody and make it Free, along with health care!
Soooooo, on my daily commute I came across this study in the book store. I was just passing time until my train came. I didn’t have anything special I was looking for, as usual I wandered over to the African-American interest section. I looked down with all the book lining the bottom self and there was this book that looked like a text book called ‘Generation we’ I started flipping through it, I thought ‘hmmmm interesting…’ I ended up buying Nelson Mandela’s autobiography(I already started reading it!!) but on the back of the study was a website. I memorized the site and peeped it when I got home.
I’ve heard the word ‘millenial’ which seems to be the official title given to my generation. I guess the generational examination has begun. Apparently we are the largest generation in American history with there being 95 million of us born between 1978-2000(the eighties excess and Clinton years must have good LOL)
Peep the website and the video, post some comments because I really want to know what you think about this. I agree with much of what this study says and found the information very enlightening.
I’m gonna keep this short, this female MC out of the United Kingdom is doing Big things across the pond as they say and across the globe! I don’t know how but she put out a friend request on myspace. I peeped her page and was like ‘OKAY’(no lil’ Jon LOL) As always I have to support talented females making moves in hip hop. Peep her myspace and peep the video, to borrow from the English…’Big Track!! BRRRRAAAAAPPPPP!!’

It’s Famous!!! This is nice, peep the video, the whole world is feeling this and the entire hip hop nation is behind us, we have four years so it’s up to the people. Obama is the leader, but the people must make sure we guide our own destiny. Obama was the first step, now we have to continue to climb the staircase
Anybody remember the 2006 World Cup? Ok maybe not but there was a well crafted commericial series called Joga Bonito, which means Play beautifully in Portugese. Why am I posting this? If I can get up on the soap box for a minute…
I, like many suburbanites and even kids in the city played soccer growing up…from about the age of 9 till about 13 or so. I played soccer even before I started playing organized basketball(which is my heart) but just recently last night LOL I played a pick up game of futsal, which is literally like basketbal with a soccer ball and two goals. It’s played on a basketball court with five players. Now I’m still aching from the games I played lol, but I had soooo much fun. The reason I’m posting this video is because I feel soccer can have real traction here in the U.S. but soccer has to move from the ‘white suburban’ sport it currently is to an American sport which includes African-Americans from the inner city. The U.S. could be the new Brazil as far as soccer. The brazillians play soccer like we play basketball and with the flair that we are used to. I love basketball but as I’ve gotten older things change and futsal/soccer is rapidly gaining a place in heart. So peep the video and Joga Bonito. Oh! the skills in this video are bananas!
